US Premarket for July 19: US companies lower future profit forecasts

Futures on US stock indices increased on Tuesday. In the premarket, shares of oilfield services giant Halliburton surged 1.8% as the report exceeded expectations. Profit grew by roughly 41 percent compared to the previous year due to a substantial increase in oil prices, which increased drilling demand.
